What is the Newport Beach Film Festival?

A prestigious annual film festival held in Newport Beach, California, that showcases both emerging and established talent from around the world. It is one of Southern California’s largest and most recognized film festivals, known for its blend of Hollywood, independent, and international cinema, as well as its upscale, community centered atmosphere.

How Did I Contribute?

As part of the Public Relations team for the Mexican Spotlight, I helped promote and celebrate Mexican cinema and culture within the Southern California community. Leading up to the event, I coordinated with California State University Fullerton’s student organizations and clubs to help promote our spotlight. During the event, I assisted with red carpet coordination, guest relations, and check-ins, helping ensure for a smooth and professional experience for attendees. I also contributed with post-event outreach to extend engagement beyond the screening, amplifying the impact of the Mexican Spotlight and its contribution to the festival’s international storytelling platforms.
